Commercial Industry Contractors (CIC) was established 21 years ago in 1988 by Gavin Henry, who is the 4th generation in his family to work in the building industry. Building is in the Henry family blood. Gavin's father Keith worked with Gavin's grandfather and great grandfather in the Sydney building industry and later was a successful commercial and residential builder for over 30 years in South East Queensland. Gavin grew up watching his father on job sites, learning the ropes and developed a strong understanding of all facets and stages of building, and in particular, the importance of attention to detail. By the third year of his apprenticeship, and at just 20 years old, Gavin was being appointed as the foreman for many job sites, in recognition of his talents and leadership. Since its early beginnings until now, Gavin and his CIC team have developed strong relationships and networks with building associates across South East Queensland to deliver the best results possible to their many and varied clients. The firm working partnership between CIC director Gavin and long-time Contracts Manager Scott Ellems and their sub-contractors has founded a dedicated team committed to achieving a quality result every time.
